Not necessarily. GuardianAI is designed to work with compatible existing CCTV systems, so no new cameras are required when your current recorder or cameras can send event snapshots over the internet.

Compatibility depends on whether your DVR, NVR or camera can send a still image when motion occurs. It is not guaranteed by brand or camera age alone. Tell us about your system during onboarding and we will review it before installation.

Verify your email, sign in, enter your site and camera details, and choose a preferred remote installation date. We confirm compatibility before installation, and the R499 setup fee is charged only after a successful installation.

Installation is completed remotely and typically takes between 10 minutes and 2 hours, depending on your CCTV system and internet connection.

GuardianAI checks motion-triggered event images for people. When a person is detected, it sends a marked photo to your private Telegram group. Photo alerts typically arrive within seconds, but this is not a guaranteed delivery time.

No detection system eliminates every false alert. GuardianAI filters the vast majority of motion events that do not contain a person, helping you focus on alerts that are worth checking.

No. GuardianAI provides detection and photo alerts; it is not an armed-response service. You can add your security company to the Telegram group so they can view alerts and respond according to your arrangement with them.

You can arm and disarm GuardianAI through simple Telegram commands. Automatic weekday and weekend schedules can also be configured.

Your CCTV can continue recording locally as normal, but GuardianAI needs internet connectivity to receive event images and deliver alerts. Monitoring resumes when the connection is restored.

Yes. GuardianAI works alongside your existing system. You can continue using your usual live view, camera app and stored recordings.

GuardianAI processes motion-triggered still images sent by your CCTV system. It does not need to continuously stream your cameras or browse the footage stored on your recorder.

Routine event files are deleted after processing. Detected-event images are delivered as photo alerts, and the latest alert image may be held temporarily for secure operational viewing. GuardianAI does not maintain a CCTV footage archive.
