A compatible camera or recorder generates a still image when its configured motion or alarm event occurs.
The image reaches GuardianAI
During installation, we configure a supported connection so the event image can be sent for processing.
GuardianAI checks for a person
The detection service analyses the image for people and applies additional filtering to reduce common non-person events.
A photo alert reaches Telegram
When a person is detected, a marked image is sent to the site's private Telegram group, typically within seconds.
What the Service Does
Person detection
GuardianAI looks for people in event images. It does not determine intent or certify that a person is a threat.
Practical monitoring controls
Authorised group members can arm, disarm, set schedules, use Vacation Mode, and check status from Telegram.
Shared alert visibility
Family, staff, or an existing security provider can be included in the private Telegram group for the site.
Compatibility first
The camera or recorder must be able to provide usable event images. GuardianAI confirms compatibility before installation.
Built Around Event Images, Not a CCTV Archive
Routine Events Are Discarded
Routine event files are deleted after GuardianAI has processed them.
Detected Events Become Alerts
Detected-event images are delivered to Telegram, and the latest alert image may be held temporarily for secure operational viewing.
No Footage Archive
GuardianAI does not maintain a continuous CCTV recording archive. Your existing recorder remains responsible for its own footage.
What a Reliable Setup Needs
Detection quality depends on the event image supplied by the CCTV system. Camera position, lighting, image quality, connectivity, and configuration all matter.
- GuardianAI works only with compatible cameras or recorders that can send usable event images.
- Person detection can make mistakes; the photo alert lets a person assess what happened.
- GuardianAI does not watch a live feed or decide whether someone is dangerous.
- GuardianAI does not provide armed response. You or your security provider decide how to respond.
